Lauren Hamsley, PA-C

Lauren is from Eufaula, Alabama, and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Troy University. She went on to receive her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical College of Georgia in 2009. 

 

Since then she has worked in pediatrics-both inpatient and outpatient. She joined Rivertown Pediatrics in September 2019. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Georgia chapter) and the Society of Physician Assistants in Pediatrics. 

 

In addition, she is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and has a passion for working with mothers to solve breastfeeding problems and provide education, recommendations and skills for successful breastfeeding.

 

She and her husband, Zack Hamsley, have three children.
