Are You Expecting?
Congratulations!
Expecting a baby is an exciting and meaningful time, filled with anticipation, joy, and many questions. As you prepare to welcome your little one, we're here to support you every step of the way.
From your baby’s first moments to their first milestones, we are honored to be considered for your child’s care. It is a special privilege for us to be part of this journey with new parents—providing trusted guidance, continuous care, and the joy of watching your baby grow and thrive.
At Rivertown Pediatrics, we look forward to being a reassuring and knowledgeable part of your family's new beginning.

What To Bring
To help us provide the best care for your newborn, please bring the following items to your first visit:
- Hospital Paperwork
This includes any discharge documents, hearing screen results, and immunization records provided by the hospital. - Insurance Information
If your baby’s insurance card isn’t available yet, bring the parent’s insurance information. We understand coverage may still be processing at this stage. - Diaper Bag Essentials
Pack several diapers, wipes, and a full change of clothes. - A Warm Blanket
Newborns can easily get chilled, so a cozy blanket will help keep your baby comfortable during the visit.
Before Your First Appointment
If you're expecting and would like to meet our pediatricians, we invite you to schedule a prenatal visit before your baby arrives. This is a great opportunity to get to know our team, tour the office, and ask any questions you may have about your baby’s care.
When you arrive at the hospital for delivery, let the staff know you’ve chosen Rivertown Pediatrics—or name your preferred physician from our office—as your child’s pediatrician.
Before leaving the hospital, be sure to set up a Patient Portal account for your new baby. This will allow you to easily manage appointments, records, and communication with our office.
The hospital staff will advise you on the appropriate timing for your baby’s first pediatric visit—typically within the first few days after birth. We look forward to welcoming you and your newborn into our practice!
