Sick Child Visits
When Your Child is Sick
At Rivertown Pediatrics, we understand that children can become sick suddenly, and prompt care is essential. That’s why we offer walk-in appointments for acute illnesses such as fever, sore throat, ear pain, or other sudden symptoms. Our goal is to provide timely medical attention to help your child feel better as quickly as possible. You don’t need to wait for a scheduled appointment—just come in during our walk-in hours, and our experienced pediatric team will be ready to evaluate and treat your child with compassionate, expert care.
For ongoing or chronic health concerns, we encourage parents to schedule an appointment so we can provide the time and attention these conditions require. If you're unsure whether your child's symptoms need a same-day visit or a longer, scheduled appointment, our nursing staff is available to help. You can call the office to speak with a nurse, discuss your concerns, and get guidance on the best next steps for your child's care. We're here to partner with you in managing your child's health and ensuring they receive the support they need.
