Our Providers

Lauren Hamsley is a certified Physician Assistant and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant originally from Eufaula, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Troy University and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the Medical College of Georgia in 2009.

With a strong foundation in pediatric care, Lauren has worked in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings since beginning her career. She joined Rivertown Pediatrics in September 2019, where she continues to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to children and their families.

Lauren is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Society of Physician Assistants in Pediatrics. As an IBCLC, she has a special passion for supporting breastfeeding mothers—offering personalized guidance, education, and practical solutions to help families succeed in their breastfeeding journey.

Lauren and her husband are proud parents of three children.
